I was reading the paper today, Worthington is looking at a levy that would phase in over 3 years, is this an option for us. Their levy would started at 3.9 mill and would add 1.5 mills every year for two years for a total milage of 6.9. I know we need at least and 8 ml levy to make it last for 4 years, but could be phase it in over the 3 years, 5 mls year one, the 1.5 mls in years two and three.
Also have participation fees ranging from $25 to $200 depending on the school activity, with sports being the highest. Most of the activities already require fundraising to help with uniform and equipment needs.
